Kristin Hannaford is a Queensland poet and writer (and high-school English teacher) whose work often explores landscape, memory, and the quiet tensions of everyday life. Her short fiction and poetry have appeared in a wide variety of journals, such as Australian Poetry Journal, Meniscus, Four W and Overland. Her writing has received awards and been shortlisted for such prizes as the Rachel Funari Prize for Fiction, the Booranga Literary Prize, and the Newcastle Poetry Prize. She has collaborated on community arts and heritage projects, and Kristin’s most recent collection of poetry is ‘Curio’ (Walleah Press 2014).
